The British Olympic Association (BOA) will host their inaugural Scottish Olympic Gold Ball this year, with the event taking place at Hopetoun House, near Edinburgh on Wednesday 25th April 2007.

In light of this, sportscotland have decided to postpone their Business in Sport Dinner for 2007, and would encourage Scottish sporting business partners to support the BOA Olympic Ball in it’s first trip north of the border.

In addition, sportscotland are currently reviewing their events activity and are exploring opportunities to recognise and reward all aspects of achievement within Scottish sport. The Scottish Sport Sponsorship Awards and Business in Sport Dinner will be included in this review process.
